One of our favorite wedding receptions
When we started catering wedding receptions, bridal showers and anniversaries 14 years ago, we never thought we'd need to spend an entire day cleaning out a horse stall so we could prepare and serve dinner from it. But when one of our clients came to us and said they wanted to hold a "barn wedding", we said (after only the slightest scratch of the head), "Sure."
Actually, it was a hoot. We love doing things out of the ordinary for our clients, and this one let our imaginations run, if you'll pardon the pun, hog wild.
We cleaned out the barn, planted flowers, tucked the "facilities" inside hay stacks, provided old-fashioned basins and pitchers to wash hands, and created a down-home feeling with plank tables and red-checked cloths.
Over the years, we've found that the best parties spring from the imaginations of our clients. After all, who knows better than you what you and your friends and family enjoy.
